Do you like leading multidisciplinary teams which can bring together data insights with practical policy solutions? An exciting opportunity is available to join the Workforce Policy and Strategy Division as the Director, Workforce Analytics and Strategy in the Department of Education Training (DET) in Victoria.
The Director, Workforce Analytics and Strategy leads sophisticated quantitative analysis to inform evidence-based policy reform and the strategic management of Victoria's education workforces.
The Director leads capability development and performance management for the branch, contributes to overall divisional, group and organisational culture, and facilitates change where necessary.

An exciting opportunity is available to join the Workforce Policy and Strategy Division as the Director, Workforce Analytics and Strategy in the Department of Education Training (DET) in Victoria.
As a member of the executive leadership team in the Policy, Strategy and Performance Group, the Director Workforce Analytics and Strategy leads sophisticated quantitative analysis to inform evidence-based policy reform and the strategic management of Victoria's education workforces.
The Director reports to the Executive Director of the Workforce Policy and Strategy Division, and is a critical leader of the Division and the Group. The purpose of the role is to:
- Bring together workforce data analysis with regional intelligence in order to:
- Support policy reform across school and early childhood education
- Provide advice for regional staff on local supply and demand trends
- Support advice on hard to staff initiatives
- Undertake/commission technical analysis on school level workforce profiles and predictive analytics.
The role works closely with the Director, Workforce Policy and Reform to bring a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to workforce policy issues.
