About This Opportunity
The Gardener is responsible for producing high quality external environments of an allocated area of the university. The scope of the role includes mowing, pruning, watering and planting of established gardens and turf and undertaking landscaping around new and old buildings.
This position is located at The University of Queensland’s picturesque Gatton Campus. Gatton Campus, UQ combines its Queensland Agricultural College heritage with modern research and teaching facilities in veterinary science and agriculture. Just over an hour’s drive west of Brisbane and five kilometres from the local township, the 1068-hectare Gatton campus offers a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and world-class facilities.
Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in producing high quality external environments, maintenance gardening and will take pride in their work. This role will assist the Supervisor Grounds in reaching the section’s goals.

What We Can Offer
This is a full-time, continuing position at HEW level 3.
The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $58,005.74 - $63,991.11, plus super of up to 17%.
