Marketing and External Relations plays a key role in profiling and positioning ACU as the first choice among its diverse community of target and stakeholder groups, including potential students, Catholic partners and communities, and staff.
The Future Students Officer supports the Future Students team to deliver targeted future student engagement strategy and outreach activities to achieve student load targets across pathways, undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
More specifically the role entails:
• In collaboration with the Future Students team, delivering the feeder school engagement program and maintaining relationships in the region with Careers Advisors and school influencers.
• contribute to the delivery of University events such as major expos and Open days
• coordinate logistical requirements, including purchasing/hiring equipment, managing car bookings and ordering merchandise
• report on future student recruitment activities, events and tactics.
• Producing newsletters for influencers including careers advisors as part of the schools engagement program.
You will need:
• A degree in marketing or communication or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience delivering future student or integrated sales and marketing functions, preferably within the higher education sector.
• the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• a valid driver’s license.
The successful applicant will be required to hold a valid working with children clearance for the state or territory in which the position is located.

Total remuneration valued to $85,053- $92,167 (pro-rata) pa, including salary component $71,871 - $77,882 (pro-rata) pa (Higher Education Worker Level 5), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
