SecureEnergy, a Clough Elecnor Joint Venture, has been selected to deliver the engineering, procurement, and construction of Project EnergyConnect. EnergyConnect is a new 700 km 330 kV transmission line running from Wagga Wagga in NSW to Robertstown in SA. The project scope also includes the construction of supporting infrastructure, such as substations and access roads along the route of the transmission line. When built, EnergyConnect will enable future renewable energy projects to connect to the electricity grid.
The Role
As HR Manager you will lead the project HR team in planning and implementing the HR framework required to successfully support the project deliverables. This will include:
- Leading and developing an engaged and effective team delivering HR, Recruitment and Training outcomes for the project
- Providing strategic and operational advice relating to HR practice, policy and procedures in accordance with company standards and relevant labour law
- Determining HR System requirements for the project and working with Group IT to implement effective HR and onboarding systems
- Supporting corporate policies and initiatives and deploying them effectively across the project
- Managing ad-hoc and planned performance appraisal measures and remuneration reviews on the project
Your Skills & Experience
Ideally you will have Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and significant experience working in a project-based engineering or construction environment along with:
- An ability to form effective relationships and provide trusted advice to senior management within Corporate and Project settings
- Experience or a sound understanding of the complexities of working in a Joint Venture environment
- Sound leadership capabilities and an ability to manage competing priorities effectively
