What You Will Be Doing
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) TSP is a formal, ten-month education program introducing nurses to ICU and preparing them for intensive care postgraduate studies. Throughout the program the student is expected to deliver specialist nursing care at the level of a developing learner. The TSP student is expected to work closely with the Continuing Education and Development Unit to meet all requirements of the program. At the completion of the TSP program, the participant should be able to demonstrate core competencies that are essential for the delivery of safe and effective care to patients in the ICU.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:• Registration with the Nursing Board of Victoria
• Current and >12 months experience working in an acute setting• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Motivation and self-direction as a learner with commitment to ongoing professional development
