We have an opportunity for an experienced Administrator to assist with our daily operations. 

About the role 

Role Location: Narromine, New South Wales

Role Type: Full Time 

This role forms an integral part of the administration team, responsible for administrative functions and providing support to the Office Manager and Weighbridge as well as customer support for Growers. You will perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support our office and the operational team, ensuring that all administrative tasks within the office are carried out in an efficient and timely manner. Key responsibilities are Office Reception, Administration, Weighbridge Support, and HR Support / RTW Coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure friendly and welcoming customer service, manage telephone answering, transfers and message taking for all staff as well as assist with Grower enquiries. 
  • Carry out general office administration duties including mail collection, weekly timecard entry for wages, staff re-imbursements, petty cash reconciliation, monitoring and ordering office and safety supplies, and other duties as required.
  • Perform basic Accounts functions 
  • Collect all Driver load data on a weekly basis and record in the Weekly load Sheet. 
  • Extra duties as required during peak Seed and Fertiliser seasons, which may include entry of orders and deliveries, and spreadsheet tracking among other tasks.
  • Provide primary weighbridge backup when weighbridge operator is away or unavailable throughout the year.
  • Human Resources administration duties to support the Safety, Health & Environment Manager, including uploading to SCRIM & Rapid systems, and other Safety and Compliance tasks as instructed. Return to Work coordination, including but not limited to reporting, arranging appointments, and completing the required documentation

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following;

  • Secondary education
  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint skills preferred
  • Email management, Data Entry and Digital Calendars skills preferred 
  • Experience in transport / logistics preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise projects
  • Proven ability to pick up internal systems (IT) quickly
  • Flexible approach with strong business acumen
