We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Quality Manager with flexible work from home arrangements available for the right candidate. The role will cover all 145 aspects including EASA, CASA, and DASR as well as Part 147 training organisation.

Here is what we need as a minimum:

Qualifications:

  • Hold suitable tertiary qualifications in Aviation or equivalent, and have a minimum of 5 years in a management or leadership position within the aviation or equivalent industry.
  • Hold safety and lead auditor accreditation (with minimum 2 years’ experience), or formal qualification in quality assurance or a similar field.
  • Hold accreditation in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (Desired.)
  • Previous Form 4 approval as a quality/safety manager under CASA 42/145 regulations highly regarded.

Experience:

  • Sound understanding of Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulatory framework.
  • Sound understanding of Human Factors (HF) principles.
  • Familiarisation with different fleets, types of operations, routes etc.
  • Safety, operational and quality assurance auditing.
  • Crisis management and emergency response planning.
  • Specialised skills, e.g., Crew Resource Management (CRM, Threat and Error Management (TEM), Fatigue Risk Management Systems (FRMS).
  • Workplace health and safety regulations understanding.
  • Aviation transport security regulations understanding.
  • Environment regulations understanding.
  • Excellent technical writing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of computer literacy, with sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
  • Knowledge of documentation systems.
