The Opportunity

Berry Street is undertaking an IT transformation with the objective to modernise and build a robust mature technology environment which will develop the technology services into an organisation enabler, provide future readiness and enable the organisation to continue to provide high quality services. 

Adopting a collaborative and structured approach, the Business Analyst will be responsible for providing analysis which enables implementation of a strategic HRIS project for Berry Street.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis, modelling and insights on current processes, technical capabilities and optimisation opportunities in relation to Berry Street’s People & Culture processes and HRIS.
  • Deliver quality information management outcomes using contemporary digital solutions, with a focus on simplicity and sustainability, while embracing the agile mindset.
  • Liaise effectively with stakeholders and vendors, supporting the Project Manager to ensure successful outcomes.

About You

  • Skilled with designing and delivering quality business outcomes in complex technical projects, working across the full project lifecycle from initiation to go-live.
  • Experience working with contemporary HRIS platforms with demonstrated experience in business analysis or project management implementing HRIS platforms.
  • Ability to present alternatives outcomes, propose solutions and ‘think outside the box" to drive innovation, courage to challenge and disrupt the status quo.
  • Advanced understanding of Information Management systems and business processes, ideally in the Human Services/NFP sector.
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships by building trust, rapport and positive working relationships with key sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.

Excellent written and oral communication skills (including public speaking, presentations and facilitation skills).
