About the Role

A fantastic opportunity for an administration professional to join our Community Care team as a senior team member. Your key focus will be provided high level support to the Manager of Community Care and the department. Our Community Care teams provides a range of home care service to older people and those with disabilities. Administrative support will be in relation to these services.

Key responsibilities include, however not limited to:

  • Work under the direction of the Manager Community Care to provide administrative support to the Community Care department.
  • Coordinate and record minutes and agendas and provide administrative support for working groups.
  • Arrange meetings and manage diary appointments and car bookings.
  • Assist in preparation and co-ordination of some aspects of Council and statutory reports (e.g. Annual Budget, Annual Report, Council reports, Policies and Procedures) as directed
  • Provide administrative support in special projects at the direction of the Manager.
  • Format correspondence on behalf of the Manager and leadership team where appropriate.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the following,

  • Demonstrated experience in the performance of high quality secretarial and personal assistant skills.
  • Ability to assist the Manager in all aspects of confidential and customer service inquiries and to represent the department in the absence of the Manager at personal assistant level.
  • Well-developed written communication skills, advanced level administrative and computer competency, including expert level MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Superior organisational skills, with the ability to anticipate and high-level diary management. 
  • Demonstrated capacity to meet deadlines in a varied and busy environment.
