An exciting opportunity is now available for a motivated and driven Property Lease Administrator to join one of Australia's largest organisations working in their head office in the CBD.

You be responsible for providing administrative support that contributes to the effective operation of the property function across the business.

Reporting to the Group Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of agreements across Australia and New Zealand as you work within their collaborative, supportive and professional property division.

You will have exceptional client relationship and customer service skills along with the proven ability to abstract and interpret commercial Lease documents. You will be a strong analytical thinker with a strong problem-solving ablity.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Group Property team on leasing transactions and associated duties
  • Document management of files, records and correspondence
  • Provide advice to internal stakeholders on lease obligations, upcoming lease expiry and renewals
  • Maintenance of all leasing related documentation
  • Ensure leasing documentation is issued in accordance with policies, procedures and relevant legislation
  • Management of Lease documents, Bank Guarantees and Purchase Orders
  • Abstract and interpret commercial lease documents
  • Reviewing Legal commentary and advice on new and renewed Lease documents
  • Audit and maintain accurate property information in the database
  • Reviewing and validating rental invoices, including reporting and management of rental increases
  • Assisting Property Manager in driving property related savings across the business
  • Ensuring the accuracy of formal agreements and leasing documentation

Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 3-4-years' experience in a similar role in commercial leasing
  • Tertiary qualifications or specialist knowledge in commercial property
  • Previous experience with a high-volume portfolio role
  • Experience with Cirrus 8 Software or similar
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks with strong attention to detail and work autonomously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong Knowledge of lease administration
  • Analytical and logical approach to issues
