Customer First Contracting Pty Ltd, based in the East Pilbara town of Newman, has developed an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, keen and enthusiastic Refrigeration/Air-Conditioning Mechanic to undertake a RESIDENTIAL role within the township. NO FIFO will be offered.

Reporting to the Department Manager, your key responsibilities and qualifications will be as follows :

• Western Australian restricted Electrical Licence

• Full ARC Refrigerant handling licence

• Able to gain police clearance

• Able to pass drug and alcohol medical

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to the following :

• Able to provide excellent customer service on a consistent basis a must

• Demonstrated experience working in harsh environments and extreme temperatures

• The ability to demonstrate 2 years of post-trade aptitude on a variety of domestic, commercial and industrial refrigeration/air-conditioning equipment

• Sound fault finding skills on a variety of refrigeration /air-conditioning automated controls systems.

• Experience maintaining large industrial/commercial refrigeration rack systems ie supermarket refrigeration, would be an advantage

• Mine site maintenance and camp experience for the fulfilment of various mining contracts is preferred

• Experience maintaining chilled water systems plant and equipment would be of an advantage

• Able to relocate to the township of Newman a must - NO FIFO Offered

• Shared accommodation is available if required

• 4th Year Aircon and Refrigeration Apprentices considered

• Persons holding a Cert II in Split Air Conditioning considered
