The Role

We are seeking a Stores Coordinator with some understanding of Rope Access and/or Mechanical trades to join our team based in our Wangara offices. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday with additional overtime where operationally required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day procurement and inventory management and associated planning and scheduling for all upcoming works
• Materials Receipt & Dispatch
• Liaise with Line Managers to review project workload
• Maintenance and inspection of in-house equipment, as required
• Ensure all required equipment is calibrated and fit for use
• Testing and tagging of electrical equipment
• Collecting equipment from suppliers
• Sourcing and hiring of required plant
• Monitor PPE, tools and equipment and advise when equipment is required
• Inspection and re-certification of Rope Access equipment
• Attend operational and planning meetings
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on site at all times.
• General warehouse duties where required

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• A forklift ticket and demonstrated experience safely operating a forklift in a busy warehouse.
• Experience in Ropes Access (Desirable)
• Knowledge of boilermaking and/or mechanical trades
• Test and Tag certificate
• A current drivers licence (manual)
• A reliable, hardworking and punctual approach to work.
• A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
