Thrifty Car Rental is 100% Australian owned and a part of the NRMA Group. At Thrifty, people are the focus and are at the forefront of everything we do. We are currently recruiting part time permanent Rental Operations Agents, at Dandenong.

About The Role

As a Rental Operations Agent you will play a critical role in the conversion of vehicle rental sales whilst developing and maintaining customer relations through the delivery of exceptional customer service.

What is this role all about?

The Role Is Responsible For

Creating a positive customer experience by greeting and engaging all valued customersComplete rental and return transactions accuratelyProvide information regarding the rentalPick-up and delivery of vehiclesGeneral Administrative tasksCleaning vehiclesDealing with customers face to face and via the telephone, including sale transactions.Other administrative and operational tasks and being part of team to ensure a high level of presentation of the Branch.Ensuring all aspects of Thrifty's quality controls are delivered, including presentation of counters, paperwork and fleet.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this position, our new team member will be able to demonstrate the following:

Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and have a flair for salesPrevious experience in the retail and sales field with the ability to assist customers with rental agreementsMonitoring and organizing of fleet on a daily basisKeyboard skills are essential to perform reservations and checking in and out purposes.You must hold a full and current driver's license with the ability to drive automatic vehicles.Adopting a flexible approach to working hours is required, and will involve some weekend workAbility to learn and operate our point of sale softwareAttention to detail in presentation of vehiclesAbility to work unsupervised with a good sense of responsibilityAbility to multi task and highly organised with strong attention to detailExperienced in dealing with customer issues and conflict resolution
