Thrifty Car Rental is 100% Australian owned and a part of the NRMA Group. At Thrifty, people are the focus and are at the forefront of everything we do. Due to a recent restructure of the business, we are currently seeking Branch Operations Managers across our suburban Victorian branches.

What is this role all about?

As a Branch Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage the end to end daily operations of a Thrifty location. Your primary responsibility will be managing a team, with a significant focus towards customer service, while also driving the overall profitability and productivity of the location and the team. Due to the recent restructure, this is an exciting opportunity to grow into the new role and re-build the business from the bottom up.

As a senior leader you will have had previous retail operations leadership experience. You are a leader who believes that developing the skills, knowledge and behaviours of your team is critical to success. You will demonstrate attention to detail in rostering, branch appearance, increasing sales and controlling costs. Having a passion for outstanding customer service outcomes will see you deliver sales targets and KPI's.

You will be commercially and analytically minded as well as being a driven individual who is passionate about retail and logistics. You will be proactive, ambitious with a can-do attitude and consider your communication and relationship building skills to be your key strengths. You will be able to work autonomously as well as effectively within a small team environment.
