About the DepartmentPrevention and Recovery Care (PARC) provides short term sub-acute intensive residential services with a recovery focus to consumers who require additional support early in relapse or following an acute in patient admission. The service is run in partnership with Wellways.About the RoleUnder the guidance of the Manager

  • Mental Health Service Development Unit and PARC Manager, the Project Officer will support the implementation and evaluation of a consumer lived experience-led community group program. The Project Officer will support consumer lived experience peer educators in the development and delivery of recovery-based group modules for consumer participants of St Vincent’s Mental Health. DutiesProvide direct support to consumer lived experience peer educators in the planning, development and implementation of group modules that form the PARC Community ProgramSupport processes enabling consumers to register and participate in the programEngage external training providers/lived experience subject matter experts and support the team in sourcing venues for program deliveryLead the evaluation of the PARC Community Program in collaboration with the broader teamFacilitate service involvement in key community networks to support planning and partnership processes with a range of community organizationsContribute to the development of relevant resources for internal and external stakeholders including web based and hard copy materialsParticipate in training and education opportunities to support ongoing professional developmentClassification rangeOT/SW Grade 3 YB24

  • NP77 ($98,800 - $109,200 per annumQualifications, Skills and ExperienceCertificate, Diploma or Degree (minimum) in Nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, Division 1 or 3. Masters Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology recognized by the Australian Psychological Society and registered as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.Bachelor of Social Work (B.SW). Eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work and registered as a Social Worker with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
