JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Cisco Engineer availalable immediately. Must have a CCNA qualafication.


You will need:

  1. Understanding and working knowledge of OSI model, TCP/IP stack and, switching and internet routing protocols
  2. 3+ years’ experience working in an ITIL environment (especially change management)
  3. Experience in Management Engine Service Desk Plus highly desirable
  4. Highly effective in managing multiple, concurrent activities, while understanding and managing priorities, dependencies and risk.
  5. Ability to work autonomously (as much as possible, anyway)
  6. Cisco routing, switching, voice (CUCM), wireless experience (CCNA min. level certification)
  7. HPE Switching / wireless experience
  8. Escalate security incidents to senior teams members


You will required to:


  1. Help maintain and support local and wide area networking, communication and related software / hardware within a multi-platform environment
  2. Manage work requests, respond to incidents from service desk
  3. Update technical build documents
  4. Assist with the configuration, deployment and ongoing management & monitoring of ManageEngine OpsManager
