Hi! We’re Go-To and we’ve been looking for you. A little bit about us – we like hopping along the asphalt and advocating for lemonade fountains in the office. We love skin care and think we’re pretty good at making it. Our specialty is making uncomplicated skin care that your skin is gonna love. And we really like words – short, long, unexpected, witty words.

We live on social media. It’s warm here! Our social media channels are the most important thing we do (don’t tell formulations) because it allows us to talk to you, our community. Through social media we keep you up to date, educated and entertained, and we spread the Go-To word. Because as discussed, we really like words and we certainly like spreading them.

The Social Media Manager role is a leading role in the Go-To (and Bro-To. And Gro-To!) Marketing team. We will rely on you to create a robust social media strategy and work closely with Content Managers and Creative to roll out strong, clever, engaging content globally, across a variety of mediums. We will look to you to tell us what works, what doesn’t and how to Be Better.

Responsibilities 

General

  • The management of all social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and let’s call it, probably more) across Bro-To and Go-To
  • Develop and implement an innovative social strategy across all our channels and brands
  • Creating awareness and engagement with existing followers and working hard to engage new ones

Content

  • Using the Marketing Calendar and team to create an exciting, fun social content calendar across all channels that is impactful, seasonal (across the USA and AUS) and maintains Go-To and Bro-To’s high quality and shareable content concepts
  • Work with our creative team to produce fresh, engaging and trendsetting content that drives results across all channels

Analytics

  • Using data and analytics to approach content and constantly analysing what is working/isn’t working and how it can be optimized to grow our social media following and engagement
  • Monitoring engagement on social media channels and working alongside our Community team to establish community
  • Measure, report and analyse the performance of content across channels and translate these learnings into actionable recommendations for our creative team
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate data metrics, insights and best practices

Innovation

  • Constantly identify and stay up-to-date with new trends and viral campaigns, reacting quickly and working with our creative team to piggyback a trend if it makes sense
  • Keeping up to date with social media insights and continuing to cement Go-To as an innovative digital brand

About You

  • You have 5+ years of experience in managing a eCommerce or consumer-facing brands social media channels
  • You have an excellent understanding of each social channel and the nuances between them, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube and Facebook
  • You have experience using social management tools including Dash Hudson, including content management, scheduling and community management and influencer software platforms (like Tribe Dynamics)
  • An obsession with social trends, brands, influencers and all things beauty related
  • You’re a high-impact worker who focuses on efficiency, organisation and time management with no issues meeting deadlines
  • You’re a great communicator who’s able to collaborate with a team while delivering on your role autonomously
  • You have a proactive approach, with extreme confidence in taking ownership of your work and the results it drives


The Important Bits

This role is fulltime and based in Sydney. (Flexible WFH policy, obviously. It’s 2021.)

Salary is TBC depending on experience.
