We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated team player to join the Employee Relations Branch, as an Assistant Investigator. You will conduct pre-investigation of complaints and provide timely, accurate, efficient, high level assistance and support to the unit in the management of compliance activities.
Salary: Clerk Grade 3/4. Package includes base salary ($72,635 - $79,535) plus superannuation and leave loading.

About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Work cooperatively to meet deadlines within a high-volume service delivery environment.
- Provide timely & accurate information in relation to complex enforcement issues
- Maintain current knowledge of changes in legislation & departmental policies & procedures
- Have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Have experience & understanding of database & electronic records management systems.
The Compliance Unit comprises of 3 teams. The State Compliance Unit are responsible for regulating NSW Industrial legislation Providing information to NSW workers and employers and investigating alleged breaches of the legislation.

This role will be initially offered as a temporary role up to 24 June 2021. A recruitment pool may be created from this recruitment action for ongoing and temporary roles for this role or similar roles that may become available over the next 18 months.
