JOB DESCRIPTION

Hamilton Island Reservations and Flight Co-ordinators are responsible for processing all aspects of flight bookings including basic ticketing and accounting reconcilation.
Based in our Sydney office, you provide support to the Reservations team with duties including servicing phone calls, emails and Live Chat enquiries while focusing on converting enquiries into confirmed sales.
As a Reservations and Flight Co-ordinator for Hamilton Island, you will work within an energetic and customer focused team that is driven to achieve targets.

About The Role
  • Complete all flights tasks for the Reservations team including ticketing, amendments, refunds, cancellations and airline credits
  • Respond to flight booking requests from all internal departments
  • Complete daily checks of flight bookings and manage schedule changes
  • Ensure ticketing and financial data is accurately recorded and reconciled
  • Manage the weekly and monthly Velocity Points reconciliation processes
  • Support other teams within the Reservations department by servicing overflow calls, processing emails and Live Chat queries


About You
  • HSC or equivalent tertiary level Travel Course
  • 1-2 years Travel Agency or Travel Call Centre experience
  • Competent basic Galileo GDS skills including ticketing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Flexibility to work across a roster covering weekends
