Key Responsibilities Include
  • Teaching basic literacy for Years 7-9 in one to one & small group settings
  • Proving remediation in key areas such as spelling, comprehension & sentence structure
  • Improvement of student learning outcomes
  • Designing effective assessments & learning feedback tools
  • Working creatively and constructively with a range of internal & external communities
  • Taking responsibility for NCCD data collection & maintenance

You Will Have
  • Current qualifications & proven track record in Literacy Support ESSENTIAL
  • Solid working knowledge of NCCD requirements
  • A collaborative approach to students & parents/carers
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Strong ICT skills & ability to integrate modern tech into your teaching
  • An understanding of and commitment to the school's faith-based values & ethos
