How will I help?
Part of the Human Capital Analytics team in HR Shared Services, the Business Analyst provides strategic insights that support the Group’s service vision and workforce revolution strategy. This role drives the delivery of Group wide employee surveys, including survey design, stakeholder engagement, analysis, and insight presentation to inform key strategic decisions on the Westpac Group workforce.
The position is being offered as an 18 month max term contract. Location can be flexible however Sydney is preferred.

What do I need?
The successful candidate will be responsible for management of stakeholder relationships across the organisation to drive the education of data-based decision making to improve employee experience and business outcome. This role requires a strong business acumen, ability to translate business requirements into designing surveys, and a keen interest in analytics both quantitative and qualitative.
Key Skills/experience Required
- Experience in delivering reporting and insights, and supporting stakeholders in interpreting data
- Experience in Data discovery working with SQL programming
- Strong understanding and proven aptitude in working with common Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with survey design, data visualisation, business intelligence, or data warehousing will be highly regarded
- Financial Services or Human Resources experience advantageous
