How will I help?
As part of the team, you will be working closely with Technology, Operations and Financial Crime Compliance teams by providing input on the strategy and optimisation of the existing Transactions Monitoring Program (TMP). You will provide ongoing support for key remediation project work interfacing with separate Financial Crime programs as required.
You will be a key Subject Matter Expert in advising on future TMP technology implementations and assist in determining traceability of detection scenarios to products, channels, typologies etc. In addition, you will organise and facilitate workshops to gather requirements for TMP development and conduct ongoing gap analysis exercises for Products, Channels and typologies.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will assess the existing TMP against global best practise and identify opportunities to improve the existing design and implementation to make sure that is sustainable and adaptive. To further develop the TMP operating model and framework, you will ensure it meets current obligations and can scale to meeting new emerging requirements. In addition, you will assist in reviewing and assessing existing TMP controls, governance, rule testing, training, KPIs and procedures and make recommendation for improvements.

What do I need?
Having international experience and direct experience in transaction monitoring is a must. In addition, you must have experience in scenario design and coverage/ risk assessments from a TM perspective.
Having domestic and international exposure in an investment banking environment is a must.
You must have Financial Crime related experience derived from roles within either banking/consultancy/ legal or government and demonstrated knowledge of AML/CTF and other financial crime legislation including key challenges, risks, trends and regulatory environment. In addition, you must have strong operational experience and demonstrated ability to develop and enhance solid processes and controls.
