About the role
What you need to know:

Ensure the strategic organization of AIG Australia and Key Personnel

  • Directly assist the CEO in all day to day operations, including a variety of complex tasks and ensure the activities are aligned to business goals and priorities. Streamlining these activities and helping to ensure the highest quality of delivery.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with departments/geographies across Australia in establishing and carrying out responsibilities and objectives.
  • Research, compile, analyse and summarise data for special projects and/or reports.
  • Lead the CEO's required preparations, reporting, follow ups and monitor the status of action items for executive committees such as the AIGAL Board, GBR, AIG Exec Reporting etc.
  • Liaise with other departments on issues needing the CEO's feedback/recommendation to triage issues. and develop strong relationships.
  • Provides updates on the delivery of Corporate Objectives, Strategic Initiatives and business plan deliverables to relevant stakeholders within AIG.
  • Ensuring the Strategic Execution Group (SEG) prioritize accordingly and meets performance targets whilst aligning with the organization's strategic objectives and adhering to best practices.

Manage the Office of the CEO, Australia

  • Responsible for preparing and briefing the CEO prior to key external/internal meetings and/or events including drafting talking points, speeches, briefing notes or analysis.
  • Provides accountability, insight, content creation and project management support to the wider leadership team as directed by the CEO.
  • Take a lead in organizing/setting the agenda for corporate events and strategy offsites as directed by the CEO and in collaboration with their Executive Assistant/Corporate Events.
  • Supports the CEO, CFO and other members of the executive team to develop high quality business strategies and financial plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term AIG business objectives.
  • Anticipate, prioritise, and interpret business or operational challenges that may impede on the business objectives and recommend actions to address.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of all AIG legal entities, reporting bodies and internal structures.

What we're looking for:
