About the Role:


The Analyst Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of applications and components relating to DA's Core Banking System product suite. The Analyst Developer will build and maintain technology solutions in alignment with DA's technology roadmap whilst improving build output and quality by introducing new technologies, development processes, test automation and operational excellence practices.


You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Designing and developing application changes applying agreed standards, patterns and tools
  • Collaborating with your team in the design of components of larger software systems
  • Participation across the Software Development Life Cycle for new products and upgrades.


What You'll Need to Succeed:

Essential:

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles including distributed version control systems and branching methodologies
  • Experience with development of applications utilising Sybase and/or MS SQL Server databases.
  • Extensive SQL programming experience.

Desirable:

  • Team Developer
  • Windows Desktop development
  • Database stored procedures
  • SDLC support including change request and defect fix development processes
  • Cloud certified (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience with ASP.NET tools for Web application development.
  • Experience with Web Server (IIS) fundamentals, including configuration, security, and management
  • Experience with software development languages, for example, VB6, VB.NET, C#, Java
  • Programming and systems support experience in PC and/or Client-server environments
  • Experience with Database applications and development tools.
