We are looking for a Plant Operator to operate, inspect and maintain a variety of fixed plant equipment including crushers, screens and conveyors.

This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly ambitious individual. Working a 12-hour Day/Night shift lifestyle roster and reporting to the Supervisor, you will be:

  • Monitoring and carrying out daily plant inspections on the various work fronts of the fixed plant operations, and report any defects found during inspections;
  • Working across all streams, including apron feeder, conveyors, pumps, screens, classification tanks and train load out station;
  • Monitoring and operating fixed plant equipment via Citect Scada
  • Working with the maintenance team assisting Electrical and Mechanical personnel
  • Working mostly outdoors in hot, humid and challenging environmental conditions including occasionally working at heights and in confined spaces.

What you’ll bring

  • Prior experience in operating and inspecting fixed plant equipment
  • A current manual 'C' class drivers licence
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
