About the role QAL has an opportunity for Supervisors to join various sections within the plant. As a QAL Supervisor, you will be provided with an environment where you will be empowered and encouraged to ensure your team are connected to their strategy and plan. Reporting to the section Superintendent, you will be:

  • Creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing and coaching your team to achieve together
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing team capability through ongoing and regular coaching and development
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
  • Continuously improve plant stability by supporting the identification and elimination of equipment failures
  • Developing strong relationships with operational, maintenance and technical teams across the site About You: To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
  • The ability to successfully work within a team environment and build effective working relationships with your team, peers and leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads whilst ensuring accuracy in the workplace
  • Willingness to lead and implement change, influence and mentor others
  • A visible safety leader with a passion to influence safe working methods amongst your team
  • The ability to effectively communicate, engage and build trust with your team and stakeholders
