We currently have an outstanding opportunity within a large State Government Department for a Senior Finance Business Services Officer / Senior Finance officer - for an initial contract period through until June 2021 with a view to further extension.

The role will provide high level financial support and advice to the Manager, Business Services for business operations including revenue and expenditure accounting activities, financial governance and ongoing development of a wide range of business strategies spanning the business needs of the Business Group.

Additionally, you will lead the preparation of a Program’s annual budget estimates and implement procedures to maximise the accountability, efficiency and compliance with financial management policy, standards and practices and provide high level financial analysis, scenario planning, forecasting and reporting to the General Manager and Program Management Team on a wide range of business services and strategies.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Officer who has worked in a similar role previously. Business / Accounting qualifications are desirable, as is experience gained within Government.
