Corearth is an entrepreneurial business which has gone from strength to strength since 2002 by supplying services to the telecommunication sector. We are currently expanding on our established reputation and require a Business Development Manager to take on a new growth position.

 ABOUT THE ROLE:

The BDM is a key position for the ongoing success of our company. Reporting directly to the Construction manager, you will be responsible for the review and preparation of tenders, ongoing management of clients and contracts, including both internal and external reporting.

The position will be based at our head office in Milton along with our construction office in Meadowbrook.

KEY DUTIES:

• Develop and execute growth strategies and plans with internal stakeholders.
• Actively spearhead business development and the management of tender submissions.
• Collaborate directly with the Construction Manager to prepare effective time & budget estimates.
• Contribute to both planning and fulfillment of proposal submissions along with reporting on results and updates applicable to any active project.
• Evaluate and report on all documentation applicable to any project, including FC drawings and client contracts.
• Be responsible to source quotes as well as review and advise on suitable sub-contractors appropriate to project requirements.
• Actively participate in ongoing management of client relations.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

• Will have the ability to create opportunities within the civil construction sector with a proven track record of business development and contract management.
• Be highly driven and adept in contributing to tender submissions, naturally excel in organic growth and thinking outside of the box.
• Have a high level of competency in preparing tender responses for civil and private projects including but not limited to telecommunications, civil infrastructure, office fit outs, earthworks, and construction.
• Will have a minimum of 5 years experience within construction or related industry, any relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Sales or similar will be highly regarded.
• Will be comfortable within a small team while we look to grow and mature within an exciting industry.
