Position Summary – Sales and Partner Director

You are a motivated and energetic Sales and Partner Director (SPD) who can be an innovation catalyst in our organization, exhibiting a commitment to our partners and ultimately, the customer – all the while inspiring the team around you. Being always efficient and on your toes as a key revenue contributor, handling multiple demands and competing deadlines. You leverage all of Simple’s resources to ensure our key (strategic) partners are appropriately recruited, enabled, managed, marketed, inspired, engaged and ultimately, supported to ensure our mutual customers' success. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Meet all planned/committed revenue (Licence) targets! 
  • Own and support the build out of the Regional Microsoft Relationship (& coordinate all activities associated with Microsoft AU) - thereby, further developing and expanding the overall Microsoft Partner Business Plan.
  • Work with the Global Strategic Partnerships Team, CEO & Regional Leaders to integrate this into the overall Simple Business Plan. Specifically covering the Partner business process development, including:
    • Partner targeting, researching and recruitment (for all of Simple’s target Verticals – FSI & PS). 
    • Partner enablement and championing (internally and jointly externally with Simple’s Delivery Team).
    • Partner lifecycle management (from tactical to strategic partnering in Region).
  • Regional Partner Pipeline Development, Executive and ongoing Management, including:
    • Develop collaborative Marketing to publicly reinforce the appropriate regional “joint value propositions”! 
    • Support ongoing Partners x-sell / up-sell regional initiatives. 
    • Forecast all indirect regional revenue back to the business. 
    • Developing strategies to increase regional partner generated revenue. 
  • Collaborate and sell with Regional Partners (to both knowledge transfer and build Simple executional excellence with strategic regional partners) 
  • Hands-on management of all operational responsibilities (from recruitment through to ongoing customer & revenue generation) through mutually agreed KPIs. 
  • Manage customer-facing executive sponsorship - where and when appropriate. 
  • Manage the Regional Microsoft CSP Portal and OCP Relationship (with the Global Strategic Partnerships Team, Finance and IT). 
  • Be the “go to person” for all regional strategic partners (and especially, the local Microsoft AU Team).
  • Build the organizational network through targeted outreach and strong project planning.
  • Preparation of all Regional Partner reports and QBR presentations.
  • Sales Support outside of Partners - where and when required. 

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualified in Business, Management or Marketing
  • At least 5+ years software sales with specific experience in enterprise and SaaS environments.
