Truck Driver

SALARY OFFERED: $55,000 – $65,000 (Fulltime)

Our growing FMCG business located on the Mornington Peninsula, is looking for an energetic, passionate & highly experienced Truck Driver

Duties will include:

• manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
• loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
• observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
• making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
• estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
• ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
• verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries

It is essential you possess the following:

• Hands on and show of commitment
• Successful completion of relevant AQF Cert II or equivalent AND at least 1 year (20+hpw) relevant experience
• Proven post-qualification experience in a similar role or ability to adapt and display skills required
• Proven ability and willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to work autonomously, without supervision
