JOB DESCRIPTION
Chef/Cook required for busy beach cafe. Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining consistency. Min 5 years experience. $54k +super
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $54,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend
COVID-19 considerations:
To keep staff as safe as possible staff are given a rundown of all inhouse covid19 procedures and government regulations. Staff are provided the necessary products and equipment to maintain a high hygiene standard.
Job Duties:
- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Oversee and manage kitchen operations
- Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
- Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
- Train apprentices and other kitchen staff
Additional Duties:
- Recording food temperature
- Preparing reports
