Cubs Corner Early Learning is a family owned and Operated Childcare located in Greenway ACT. Our purpose is to provide high quality Care and Support to our families. We believe in supporting our Dedicated Educators to excel in their professional learning and career development.

About the Role? 

We are currently seeking Passionate Educators to join our team in a permanent role working Monday to Friday. Our Service is open from 7am till 6pm and you must have the flexibility to be able to work open or close shifts.

The Role Will Entail:

• Developing Secure and Supportive Relationships with children and being able to Communicate and Support Families
•  Mentoring and assisting a team of Educators whilst being part of a large team dynamic
•  Responsible for keeping records and paperwork up to date
•  Develop and deliver curriculum founded on the Services Philosophy whilst following the Regulations and National Quality Standards
•  Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe
•  Observe and record children's growth, development and behaviour using electronic portfolios.
• Engage in the local community through our Local Walks Program

You will already have or willing to obtain one of the following:

• Certificate three or Diploma in Early Education and Care 
• Current First Aid certificate with anaphylaxis and asthma training or willing to attain
• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card or willing to attain one before commencement

Desirable:

• Fantastic organisational and teamwork skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• A good level of computer literacy
• A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
