You will be responsible for improving customer and member engagement primarily through our direct communication channels. You will develop, implement and optimise the customer lifecycle journey, ensuring a targeted, relevant, timely, and highly personalised approach.Accordingly, significant investment is being made into technology and business processes to provide market leading experiences to our customers in both the physical and digital realm. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, and supported by a high skilled and specialised team, the Direct Marketing Specialist will be highly visible across the business and critical to the success of the future growth. This is an exceptionally exciting role for someone who wants to be part of an innovative, industry-defining transformation.The Direct Marketing Specialist will apply the latest techniques within the context of our customers and business, to improve customer experience and drive returns.This role will require you to;- Utilise excellent data analytics skills to create multiple audiences to be implemented across our direct channels in line with the content strategy and communication plan- Analyse and monitor campaign results and key performance metrics- Develop a clear understanding of the various touch points and their significance in the customer and member lifestyles- Effective planning and implementation of all eDMs across our brands for acquisition, retention and offers- Utilise Google Analytics, and other Analytics/Reporting platforms- Working knowledge of the SPAM Act, GDPR and the Privacy Act and understand how they impact marketing activity across direct channels- Demonstrate a commercial approach in identifying new direct marketing opportunities, building supporting business cases and executionYour ExperienceRelevant tertiary qualifications, combined with commercial working knowledge of direct marketing principles and methodologies are essential. You will have proven experience of driving revenue results via digital sales, eCommerce and marketing. You will have demonstrated experience with executing, managing and optimising eDM marketing campaigns, lifestyle programs and associated CRM databases.To be successful in this role you will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to articulate your message to your varied stakeholders. You will be flexible and adaptable; resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere. Your collaborative style is a natural strength, as is your business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative and attention to detail to be successful in meeting the business demands at G’Day Parks.
