Job Description NES Fircroft has partnered with a major oilfield company to source for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic. This is a FIFO role for work at their sites around South Australia. This role is a contract position with an attractive hourly rate. This role requires candidates to reside within South Australia. Job Requirements: Your duties will include but are not limited to servicing, repairing and maintenance of equipment and vehicles on-site. This includes pressure pumping equipment, diesel engines, transmissions and heavy vehicles. About You:Strong experience as a Heavy Diesel MechanicPrevios working experience in the oil & gas sectorExperience with pressure pumping equipment (highly desired)Strong understanding of diesel engines, transmissions, heavy vehicles (Kenworth, Western Star etc.)Hands on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsClean Police Clearance is required (Must be able to provide recent National Police Clearance)Have full working rights in AustraliaAlong with these your professionalism and leadership qualities will enable effective communication within the team, ensuring cohesion and commitment to organisational processes and safe work practices.
