JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is an international mining company, with diverse commodity operations throughout the world.
They have an immediate requirement for experienced Component Rebuild Fitters for the Afternoon Shift in their SW Brisbane branch.
You will be responsible for undertaking component overhauls of heavy mobile machinery and associated mining equipment using fine tolerance measuring equpment.
To be considered you should possess the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Previous component overhaul experience
- Experience with micrometers, verniers etc
- Electronic diagnostic systems experience
- Current Forklift Ticket
- Current Dogging Ticket desirable
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and instant drug & alcohol screening
To be successful in this role you must be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, but still work successfully within a team environment.
Only Australian or New Zealand candidates will be considered, or those holiding appropriate working visa's for Australia and already residing in Australia
