Description

Job Accountabilities

-Service various devices such as concentrators, pressure regulators, CPAP Machines. and other medical equipment according to training and accreditation received

-Carry out performance, reliability and safety tests of medical equipment as per the manufacturer's recommendations and/or ALH procedures

-Perform quality checks on incoming devices, according to company procedures

-Service and repair medical equipment and make sure that equipment is cleaned and decontaminated before it is serviced and is cleaned again after service.

-Prepare quotations for service/repair according to Company's policies and with the assistance of the Technical Workshop Supervisor when required.

Experience in a Service, maintenance, repair role within various trades will be looked at.

Profile

Qualifications and Experience required for the position.

A Technical degree/diploma from college or technical school, with 6-12 months of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Electrical qualification highly regarded - or recently finished apprenticeship
Basic computer skills and able to learn new systems
Clean Drivers license

Soft Skills:

Ability to solve practical problems
Ability to manage competing demands and follow tasks to completion
Pleasant manner and good communication

Ability to read and interpret an extensive variety of instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Able to lift up to 25Kg (10% of the day)
