Executive Manager Risk, Platforms and Investments – Wealth Management How will I Help?
Reporting to the Head of Risk – Platforms, Investments, & Operations, you’ll lead a team in the accountability for delivering a strategic and integrated approach to risk and compliance across key areas where we are providing superannuation and investment products and operations.

You will be an important part of the leadership team supporting the “2nd Line of Defense” Risk Management function in relation to the delivery of the strategic plan for the future state of the Platforms, Investments & Operations businesses and ensure commonality and a strategic focus on the end to end product value chain and to ensure a consistent approach within those businesses

You will bring a curious mind and the ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders, asking difficult questions and respectfully challenging as your strive to provide commercially-focused risk and compliance advice, seeking solutions consistent with the objectives, risk appetite and tolerances governance framework and compliance obligations of the Platforms, Investments & Operations businesses and the broader Westpac Group.

What do I need?
10 – 12 years of Operational Business Risk & Compliance experience within financial services/wealth management sector and /or Big Four Consulting environment. You will have a broad understanding of the wealth management risk and compliance environment and bring experience motivating and leading teams to delivery strategic goals & operations. With the ability to influence at all levels, you will have a curious mind, and be an analytical thinker who brings commercial acumen to a problem, and a customer and outcomes focus.
