The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of various applications being designed at the Organisation. The designer will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.

Responsibilities / Critical Deliverables:

• Investigating user experience design requirements
• Producing high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
• Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
• Collaborating with the development team, product owners and business analysts to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the end users.
• Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design
• Communicate with end users and product owners to understand their business goals and objectives.
• Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements.
• Test new ideas before implementing

Skills & Qualifications:

• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
• Proficient with sketch and/or prototype tooling such as Invision, Sketch. Working Knowledge of tooling and software such as Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Creative Suite
• A team player but can work independently too
• Professional UI/UX Designer qualification is highly desirable
