JOB DESCRIPTION

    Our Lady's College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Educational Interpreter with qualifications in Auslan commencing February 2021.

    The successful applicant will have worked in the education sector, be proficient in supporting a differentiated classroom, and possess a blue card for working with young people.

    Our Lady’s College is a Catholic Secondary College for girls administered by Brisbane Catholic Education. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1964, we take as our motto and challenge, “Ad Altiora” (Ever Higher).     • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.


    Estimated Start Date: Commencing February 2021
    Position Tenure: Fixed Term
    Weeks Worked: School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)
    Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term): Late February to 3 December 2021
    Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: 30 Hours per week
    Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: School Officer Level 4 Step 3 - $32.43 per hour
    Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement


    This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
