The Position

St John of God Bunbury Hospital is a 145-bed private hospital, providing health care to the Bunbury community and those that live in the south west of Western Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join the Catering team. As a chef, you are to prepare, cook and present meals for patients and staff of the Hospital, which are of a high standard of excellence, in accordance with the Australian Dietary Guidelines.

This role will be offered on a permanent part time basis of 56 hours per fortnight working various shifts (night or day shift), as requested.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Sound knowledge of all aspects of hospital and function cooking
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the workplace
