About the Centre/Service

We are a community run sessional preschool offering two 4 year old groups and one 3 year old group. We are excited to offer a Bush kinder program to our 4 year old groups as well as offering a nature play program within the 3 year old program. We are fortunate enough to border Mullum Mullum Linear Park and Currawong Bush Park and utilise these within the program. We have been awarded an EXCEEDING National Quality standards rating In 2018 and educators are passionate to continue to offer outstanding service to the community. We are committed to maintaining a child-safe environment at all times and adhere to current Child Safe Standards. Description

We are looking to employ an experienced, committed and enthusiastic Diploma qualified educator who is prepared to work within a small collaborative team of dedicated educators. The successful candidate will assist in implementing a high quality preschool program that delivers positive outcomes for children and families. The position is a part-time position, commencing term 1 2021, working with one 4 year old group, under the VECTEA Award. As we are increasing our class size from 22 to 26 we require an additional Diploma qualified educator to join our existing team of teacher and educator within a four year old group.

Qualifications

*Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Current WWCC
• First Aid
• Anaphylaxis training
• Asthma Training
• Would consider a Cert III working towards a Diploma for the second group, or recent Early ChildhoodTeaching graduates willing to work in a Diploma pay rate position for either role.
