Precast Concrete Foreman

We currently have a Foreman position available for precast concrete panels manufacturing based in Townsville.

This role is for an experienced foreman capable of leading a team autonomously, ensuring production times and volumes are met, as well as stepping in on the tools as needed. You will liaise with senior management and the production manager as well as supporting your team to produce a quality product.

Key responsibilities of the role:

* Allocating general and daily responsibilities

* Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans

* Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met

* Resolve problems when they arise

* Read shop/engineering drawings and construct forms per those specifications

* Confident of steel, reo details off drawings

* Confident reading of shop drawings

* Manage factory staff

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following criteria:

* Confident professional with a friendly and engaging personality

* Previous experience in concrete precast is essential

* Reliable self-starter

* Analytical in problem solving

* Ability to interact with all levels of staff, management and external contacts

* The ability to understand and read technical designs

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Exceptional time management skills

* Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Skills and Experience

* Minimum of 3-5 years in the construction space

* Strong formwork and concrete knowledge

* Able to interpret all job documentation such as shop drawings and schedules

* Strong leadership skills

Due to an increase in production, Allan Constructions have available the following positions for experienced:

* Steel fixers

* Formworkers

* Finishers

* Labourers

Successful applicants will need to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol testing.
