An opportunity exists for an experienced consulting recruiter to join our fast paced recruitment team. As a result of an internal promotion we have an exciting opportunity in our fast growth Consulting Solutions Line of Business. ITNewcom (Technology Consulting) have been delivering exceptional CXO outcomes across $50B worth of complex technology programs for over 20 years

Your Role

In this role as portfolio owner you will endeavour to secure the best talent for MinterEllison and be known as the go-to person for the partners and employees in those business lines. Working nationally you will work to achieve the best recruitment and resourcing outcomes internally and externally as the labour markets evolve as a result of Covid-19.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Deliver a market leading efficient agile resourcing and recruitment offering by thinking and acting commercially
  • Enabler of broad diverse career experiences for our legal employees by increasing internal mobility
  • Development of external talent pipeline for critical growth areas using traditional referral methods, social media attraction and LinkedIn recruiter
  • Assuming role of Resourcing brand ambassador for your Line of Business area and in your local office
  • Understanding the financial drivers/metrics, utilisation, workflow and employee career goals across your portfolio
  • Create and lead new initiatives and change projects as we endeavour to lead the legal and non-legal recruitment market
  • Work collegiately across the team with other Consultants and talent team members


  • Extensive experience in resourcing/recruitment position whether in-house or agency, HR and in-house experience
  • Experience in Technology Consulting recruitment is highly desirable
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills combined with good level of numeracy and ability to analyse and understand financial metrics / data
  • A proven ability to use influence and persuasion to achieve desired outcomes across senior stakeholder group.
  • A demonstrated ability to work in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
  • Brings perspective and a constructive approach to high pressure situations
  • Creates an immediate, positive and credible impression on others
  • Resilient and persistent in pursuing business goals whilst maintaining quality relationships
