As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in Westpac achieving our vision of being one of the world’s great service companies helping our customers, communities and people to prosper and grow

The key strategic priorities in this role will include:

  • Own and drive key aspects of the Product portfolio, specifically Business Credit Cards and other B2B payment solutions, such as NPP
  • Builds partnerships with multiple stakeholders to deliver on key growth and quality targets.
  • Be a subject matter expert and use in-depth knowledge of products, markets and competitors to achieve agreed portfolio outcomes
  • Work in partnership with colleagues to define and agree the “why” and the “what” of how we successfully deliver Product value propositions to the market.
  • Creates opportunities to connect with customers indirectly to learn about their needs and perspectives on the product.
  • Develops new ways to view and assess revenue and balance sheet performance to enhance product and customer insight.


In order to be successful in the role you will have experience of the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, accounting, commerce or related discipline
  • Extensive Product Management experience in Banking and/or Financial Services
  • Experience in product management or agile product owner related roles
  • Extensive skills in effective problem solving and decision making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Influencing and relationship building skills
