Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights

How will I help?
You are the go to person between Finance and Line of Business (LOB) team who has good working knowledge of Accounting Principles and Mortgage products.

You are responsible for visualising, defining, analysing and sourcing data that supports the Mortgage LOB team of consumer dashboards and reports; engaging with the wider groups to understand business requirements and reporting needs; and developing the reports, tools and systems to conduct these activities.

You will provide unique actionable insights and commentary on strategic and tactical business and productivity initiatives, maintain an expert knowledge of the data contained in both Group and Enterprise Data Warehouse (GDW & EDW) and perform data collection for a certain set of products from multiple database and taken ownership of the dataset

What do I need?

  • At least 5 years’ experience in financial and/or data analysis
  • Degree in related disciplines such as Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance
  • Sound quantitative and financial modelling skills
  • Sound knowledge in Financial Analysis and Accounting Principles
  • Strong SQL Data Extraction Skills (Teradata and SQL Server)
  • Knowledge in Tableau and SAS applications
  • Ability to translate technical information/data insights to non-technical audiences
  • Previous experience in an analytical role providing insights to stakeholders
