Seeking a reliable, experienced, "people person" dental nurse for a friendly, patient focussed and well-established, modern dental practice in Newtown

Newtown Dentists was established over 10 years ago. The practice is a leading dental practice in Newtown and surrounding suburbs, providing a range of dental services to the community.

The Practice aims to provide quality and affordable dental services, they are committed to high standards of professional dental care, proficiency and patient care.

This is a part-time/casual role with working hours across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, also has the potential to increase to more days in the future. An immediate start is available for the right candidate. This is a great career opportunity.

In this role, your duties will include all duties of a Dental Assistant, in particular:

• Providing chairside assistance
• Sterilisation of instruments and maintaining clinical standard of cleanliness the surgery
• Reception duties as trained, including answering phone calls, making appointments, patient payments and banking

The successful applicant will:

• Have dental assisting, cleaning and sterilisation experience
• Have good computer skills, experience with Oasis dental software preferred
• Have great communication and phone skills
• Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
• Be a quick learner and be able to follow instructions
• Be hard-working, bubbly, honest, reliable and punctual
• Be available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week
