As a Key Account Manager (KAM) in Victoria you will work within a defined territory across Victoria and Tasmania representing a broad number of products and services across our Medical Nutrition category. You will be the point of contact for all accounts within your territory. You will liaise with and influence Dietitians & other HCP's involved in the management of malnutrition & other relevant disease states within hospital, community, NGO and aged care settings. To ensure you are successful you will work closely with the Regional Business Manager in the field and the Tenders & Contracts Manager, Marketing & Customer Care Teams based in the Sydney office.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Implementing a territory plan to achieve agreed sales targets within the territory;
  • Building relationships with key health care professionals in hospital, community, NGO and aged care settings;
  • Driving tender reviews, running KOL meetings and negotiating commercial terms with key contact within your territory; and
  • Seeking and securing alternative channels for future business growth.


To succeed in this position, you will need to have the ability to build strong relationships with the relevant Dietitians, HCP's, aged care facilities and other relevant specialities and you will also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • At least 1 year experience in a sales role (ideally pharmaceutical, Hospital, aged care, healthcare) with a similar target audience;
  • Preferably have a background/qualifications in dietetics or nutrition;
  • Proven sales success in growing the sales for your product or category;
  • Self motivated, resilient, committed to achieving agreed results & able to take initiative to deliver business results; and
  • Proven ability to thrive in a strong coaching based achievement culture.
