ASSISTANT MANAGER - VOLUME RETAIL - CHADSTONE

The company

Be apart of Australia's largest speciality homewares retailer with over 120 stores nationally. The Chadstone store is THEE destination for all cooking, baking, entertaining and gift giving essentials. As the Assistant Store Manager you will demonstrate useful product knowledge and practical 'how to' advice to guarantee customer satisfaction. We are looking for a talent who loves customer service and is passionate for what they do - selling! Enthusiastic, eager to learn and grow is who I want to speak to.

About The Role

  • You will be responsible for achieving store KPI's and sales targets whilst maintaining a high level of visual merchandising with a high volume store.
  • You need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and help your team unload stock deliveries whilst identifying opportunities to grow and develop their skill set.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a Assistant or Store Manager in a high-volume sales environment
  • Minimum 2 years' experience and currently in this type of role
  • A passion for the retail industry, customer service and cooking!
  • Strong experience in managing budgets and working with KPIs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proven ability to manage the performance and development of a team
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all team members
  • Flexibility to work weekends and late trading hours according to business needs/peak trade periods
  • Solid understanding of visual merchandising
