Due to business requirement we are recruiting for a Senior Analyst, Risk Assurance & Reporting within the Consumer Division. Reporting into the Senior Mananger Assurance & Governance the primary purpose of this Line 1 role is to assist in the development of the assurance and reporting framework across the division, partnering with the Risk Management and the Regulatory Compliance teams. Engaing in assurance practices that will identify areas for improvement and a clear view of the divisional control environment.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting in developing and embeding the assurance and reporting framework that is fit for purpose.
  • Performing risk-based testing for processes and controls across the Consumer business whilst engaging with key stakeholders on a day to day basis.
  • Reporting on findings to relevant internal stakeholders, including highlighting areas of best practice.
  • Collaborating with the wider Risk and Compliance team, including providing insights into ongoing reporting in areas such as risks and incidences.
  • Establishing and cascading guidance and education across the division.

Important to your success:

  • Demonstrated experience in an audit or risk and compliance role for a complex, matrixed general insurance / financial services organisation.
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of design and operating effectiveness of controls.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision-making.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline is desirable.
