JOB DESCRIPTION
Project Manager
Manage and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of complex office refurb projects.
- $65 - $72 per hour + Super
- Based in Orange
- 35 hours per week
The Role
In this Project Manager role you will manage and oversee all aspects of the projects which are each $250K office refurbishments. You will be planning, developing and implementing a range of projects, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring project outcomes are achieved on time and on budget
- Establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships including negotiations and issues management
- Monitoring and evaluating all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes
- Undertaking research and formulate recommendations to support evidence based project planning and decision making
- Monitoring and implementing the procurement phase of contracts including assessment and appointment of contractors
- Construction Project Management background would be ideal, Architectural/engineering experience would be beneficial, we would also consider a graduate if the field is narrow in Orange.
- The role would be supporting the Project Director across projects.
This is a contract role until 30/06/2021 with the possibility of extension.
The candidate
You as the successful person for this role will ideally come from a construction project management background or have architectural/engineering experience. Graduates from these fields are also welcome to apply.
